Starting school is an exciting time. Our youngest classes follow a curriculum which mixes creative play and a wide range of stimulating experiences with an appropriate degree of academic learning. Baseline testing is undertaken during a pupil's first term and the guidelines from the DCFS on Desirable Learning Goals are closely followed. Pupils in Nursery & Reception, Year1 and Year 2 also benefit from specialist facilities and teaching in Music, ICT and P.E. |

There is a separate adventure playground area with large apparatus and various facilities to encourage imaginative play and group activities. We have an indoor gymnastics area and climbing frame and a selection of bikes, trikes and rickshaws to make playtime exciting and imaginative. The children benefit from the 14 acres of playing fields and the rural location. |
