Worcestershire Education Awards 2017:

Bowbrook House school wins 2 awards:

Senior School of the Year 2017

and

Headmaster/Principle of the Year 2017

At a glittering presentation ceremony held at the Worcester Arena, Bowbrook walked away with two of the top prizes. Of the two independent schools present Bowbrook was the only independent winner on the night and the only school to pick up two awards.

Headmaster, Mr Chris Allen admitted to being both 'extremely pleased and just a little bit humbled' to have received such recognition.

The awards which were hosted by the Worcester News were the idea of the Univesity of Worcester's education department. Schools from all over the county were eligible. "This is what makes these awards so very special to us" said Mr Allen. Bowbrook has come out on top when judged against state schools, acadamies, free schools and othe larger independent schools.

"I am delighted for the staff and for the pupils. These awards reflect the pride we all have in our school and we are very pleased to be recognised in this way."

So; it's official: Bowbrook House School: Best Secondary School and Best Headmaster/Principal as voted for by the panel of 12 at the Worcestershire Education Awards for 2017.
